This is a useful and necessary place along the Peak to Peak highway, in between Black Hawk proper and Nederland. Sure, it's just a gas station and convenience store, but if you live up here and don't want to drive far, it's essential! They have a solid snack selection and even a small amount of refrigerated food, like eggs. Need ice or propane? They do their best to keep those things in stock! Gas exists, of course, as well as a small freezer of ice cream. They used to have a bigger freezer, but it appears to have died and not been replaced. That's a shame, I wish they would do that. Otherwise, we just need this place and I'm glad it exists.
The most amazing service. Mrs. Karen at the front register was just the most kind-hearted person ever. So friendly and helpful. She saved us when our car broke down in the freezing cold. The store is super clean, nice restroom, has fast service, and i’ll recommend them to anybody! Good people work here.
A friend had spilled on his bicycle and the lady here allowed us to use the bathroom to clean up his cuts etc and shared some first aid supplies with us. She was very courteous, friendly, sincere. Good people!
Gas prices were the most reasonable and surprisingly well stocked with snacks and drinks. My wife and I were able to get milk and other dairy goods for our local trip and our daughter was happy as well!
Well stocked and clean! We enjoyed stopping in as a family while passing through. The employee staff were also helpful and friendly.
Stopped here to grab some gas, snacks, and ice while camping near by. I was surprised by a decent selection of snacks and that the prices were not marked up a bunch on fuel. The gentleman running the register was decent and seemed to know the area well which was helpful. The store itself was not incredibly clean which is the biggest complaint.
